Sharing of commissions between landlord and tenant property management

If real estate commissions are freely determined by the parties ( Ordinance No. 86-1243 of 1 December 1986), Law No. 89-462 of July 6, 1989 amended Article 5 stipulates that the compensation of persons who engage or assist in the establishment of an act of renting a building owned by others, must be shared by equally between the landlord and tenant. This section applies when the agent makes or renews a lease or lease residential mixed residential and professional.

Thus, any tenant may require the payment of agency commission is paid half by the owner of the rented apartment.
